Happy New Year! I hope you enjoy a wonderful year of firsts with your new baby! May 2018 bring you your Happily Ever After!

Now For The Mushy Stuff

I had the privilege of providing maternity and nursing apparel to more than 200 Mom’s this year! I heard stories of growth, hope, fear, loss, and I laughed with you about your “adventures” as a new breast-feeding mother!

Some of my Moms were on Baby #1, #2, #3, #4 and #6!

Happily Ever After Maternity did really well this year – only 5 sales shy of this years goal! Unfortunately, I did not do as well. 2017 was a challenging and stressful year for our family, and there were times I thought my life would be easier if I put HEA on hold. But I couldn’t bring myself to do it. You ladies helped me remember why I started Happily Ever After. Your wonderful emails, FB reviews, and words of gratitude helped renew my energy. It sounds cheesy, but you are why I do what I do. I know I am doing something that is making a difference.

2017 and Beyond!!!

This was a big year for HEA. The website launched in January 2017, reaching more Mom’s in search of affordable maternity clothing. HEA’s website is getting lots of views! For online traffic, when comparing all the Shopify stores that launched the same week as HEA, HEA’s website is ranked in the top 10%.

HEA started carrying Momzelle nursing tops to fill a local need for high quality affordable tops.  I love Momzelle because they make quality clothing and they are a small Canadian company. Carrying Momzelle was a huge investment and I was nervous, but when I read Momzelle’s story, I knew their apparel was going to be a good fit for HEA!

My goals for 2018 are simple. Get the word out! Advertise near and far! And, even though this is proving to be impossible, I would like to find and carry plus sized nursing tops.

I am excited to see what 2018 has to offer!
